Subject: Certain textfile temporarily deleted.

Hello jason, i would first like to say textfiles is a very useful and interesting website.
I have used this specific article (http://www.textfiles.com/reports/ecology.rpt)
for a biology report, and to my unfortunate conclusion and past attempts, it is susceptible to
plagiarism findings by a search engine as simple as google. Being a secure and
conscientious teacher, she might search my report for plagiarism and fail me on my report.

I ask you with the greatest amount of respect and sympathy to please temporarily
take off that specific article for a total of 10 days so she does not find any plagiarism copying
in my report. Please email me back if this can be done, thank you.

I have to wonder: What was going through bobby’s head? Why would he think that you’d agree to take down files to cover for him?

I just don’t get people these days.

On the other hand, if he ever passes, he might have a bright future as a con artist. He’s certainly not shy.

LMFAO! Bobby’s apparently never heard of Google Cache.
    Thanks, that made my day.

Clearly, the best course of action would be to contact little Bobby Bobby’s teacher and cc: them on your reply.

Wow, that’s so stupid that I’m not sure I could have made that story up! It’s hard to believe that someone had the mental capacity to put together an email requesting the file being taken down, knowing that such a thing is possible, yet fail to realize that Google would not be updated in time for it to matter anyway (yahoo keeps things around much longer, mind you.) Clearly you are dealing with a special kind of ignorance here!

From looking at “Bobby Bobbys” email and then looking at the textfile he plagiarized I have to assume that Bobby Bobby is probably in the 5th grade or there abouts.

He really doesn’t seem any stupider than the average 5th grade kid. He is probably the typical anarchist skript kiddy type who views Jason as a brother-in-arms who would think nothing of helping him out by removing the textfile.

Awww, good ol’ BBS days when most teachers didn’t even know what a BBS is, and even if they were computer-savvy there were no search engines to look up excerpts from your student’s surprisingly good report.
