I believe, with emulators, you can record the screen. There&#039;s no reason you can&#039;t. I dispute &quot;many&quot; of them, however; I don&#039;t think it was the norm at all, considering when I created those screengrabs of all those Apple II crack screens, maybe a half-dozen were animated in any way.

(One or two changed out text in previously-animated title screens from the games themselves, but I don&#039;t count that.)
