Although the time of text adventures was before my time, I grew up with the first-second gen of graphic adventures by Sierra On-Line and Lucasfilm Games.. sorry now Lucasarts (Leisure Suit Larry 1+, Zak Mac Kracken, Loom, Monkey Island etc), but I am sure that the documentary will be interesting for me.

Needless to say, I pre-ordered my copy. Meeting you at DefCon, watching/listening to your educational sessions at various conferences, knowing textfiles.com and owning two copies of your BBS Documentary (one singed, one un-signed).. that’s “trailer” enough for me to buy it blind and unseen.

Only 2 DVDs though. Is there not as much to tell? Or did some idiot convince you that less is better to appeal to a broader audience? If that is the case, then I hope that the footage that did not make the cut on the DVD will show up one day on Archive.org (where I still miss many of the raw footage for the BBS Documentary DVD. You interviewed more than just 18 people. hint hint.
