and then there&#039;s ZIPPY. which is not always great but is miles above this other shit. god it&#039;s shit. i can&#039;t believe how shitty it is.

		<description>I work for a mid-sized newspaper in Michigan. You wouldn&#039;t believe the flak our editor-in-chief took when we stopped running For Better or For Worse because the artist was issuing re-runs of old content.

People cancel subscriptions over this kind of stuff.

I imagine the publishers figured, that, in the face of having to cram a paper onto smaller and smaller broadsheets to save on print costs, it was better to squish the strips than to remove any of them.

My local paper enlarges the Sunday comics. So we have our big 8-page comics section, but with fewer strips. It&#039;s very strange to see &lt;i&gt;The Family Circus&lt;/i&gt; looking more like a mural.
