Yup, I have been to Peter's twice, and it a testimony to the fact that the accumulation of money, or that everything has to be done with money in mind, is not all there is in life.

Looking forward to the next game day since I missed this one.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that, I know parts for those are getting rarer every day. If I ever fall into a stupid amount of money, I plan on buying a suit of Kryptonite and going on a rampage (a lifelong dream) and getting those monitors re-spun one last time, assuming it is even possible. Hopefully the karma accrued for the latter offsets the former.

But in all seriousness, I wish you the best of luck with your Gravitar. Congrats again, Peter!

You were close. It was the high voltage power supply from the monitor. The one in my Tempest died right before Game Day. But yes, the two machines do use the same type of monitor.

OK, so I am mentally disassembling Tempest to figure out what could have been yanked to get it going ...

... and I assume that it wasn't the power supply...

Based on his game list here the only thing I can think of is taking the color xy monitor from Gravitar. Was I close?
