&lt;b&gt;ARE YOU A FED? Y/N&lt;/b&gt;

Any &quot;Y&quot; response was quickly met with a dropped carrier. This addition of this question (I assume) grew out of the belief that any law enforcement officer must admit that s/he is a law enforcement officer when directly asked, which is in itself a bastardized view of entrapment laws.

I wonder if any investigations were actually thwarted by that asinine &quot;fed check.&quot;
